As a example you may need to select user's gender (Male or Female).
Or you may want to select age group to validate a radio button group in Java Script.
PS I'm new to Java Script so please be easy on me :) Codepen Here is my code.
HTML var test = Element By Id('test'); var test_status = Element By Id('test_status'); var pos = 0; var correct = 0; var question; var choices; var choice; var ch A, ch B, ch C, ch D; var questions = [ ['What is 1 1?
Following Java Script code shows you how to count items in a radio button group.I've created a radio button input for the user to select one or the other.I wrote a validation to make sure one button is selected and it works fine in my test program, but when I bring it into the code for this project, the code doesn't run.I'm trying to add validation to this small quiz I made but I can't seem to make it work correctly. If none of the radio buttons are checked and user is trying to proceed to the next question then alert the user to choose an answer before proceeding to the next question.I tried adding an If statement to check Answer function but for some reason it only works for the first question and doesn't want to go to the next question after user has chosen an answer.
The difficulty with radio buttons is that there are at least two and usually more fields that need to be placed on the form, related together and tested as one group.
